How to stop pop out chat on facebook?

This appears to work: I found a fix for the obnoxious facebook popup. Run Firefox or Chrome with the AdBlock Plus Add-on/extension then click on the down arrow next to the ADP stopsign icon and Preferences, Add Filter and type in: yui.yahooapis.com then hit OK.

I too have the same problem and I'm wondering why my pop-up blocker isn't stopping them. Is this a new kind of pop-up or is this technically not a pop-up ad at all? Perhaps some tech-guru can help us?

I like Yahoo news, but these incessant ads are too much.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
