You need to change the order of the way you are /ur colorist is doing the coloring procedure-1. Do the roots of grey with the shade of brown2. Using a hair weaving net highlight the blonde or bleach the brown and apply blonde.
GREAT question! This is a problem for MANY of my clients. I do teach people how to color their own hair at home but either in the salon or at home - the color to cover the grey roots should be applied ONLY to the outgrowth, carefully staying away from the mid shaft and ends.
This way - y ou can hold on to your highlights longer and save money.
You should really see a salon professional that is experienced with and carries Organic Color Systems so that you don't damage your hair with the ammonia or your health with the other dangerous chemicals. I have a good hub with instructional videos on the Advanced Techniques video here hubpages.com/hub/Professional-Hair-Color.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
