I use Narrange to format all my files, It reorder methods by name, and group them in regions. Its very nice I post this becuase I like very much the way nArrange formats my code, you can also create your own formats as templates to apply them to your code instead but if you prefer to use the Vs internal surround function you can go to to snippes folder "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC#\Snippets\1033\Visual C#" edit the pp_region. Snippet file and remove the Enter after the $end clause to look like this:?
Xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"? > #region #region Code snippet for #region Microsoft Corporation Expansion SurroundsWith name Region name MyRegion.

I'm using rauchy. Net/regionerate butny question was how to turn off default VS behaviour to reformatting code when surounding by region... – Maciej Mar 8 at 4:13 btw did you find a solution to your issue? – montelof Aug 3 at 23:47 No - just leart myself to enter manualy region statements before and after block... :( – Maciej Aug 4 at 2:50 I have been trying to reproduce the problem but I cant, when I surround code using #region #endregion nothing happens.
Could it be that rauchy. Net/regionerate is the cause of the problem? – montelof Aug 4 at 16:39 hoo ok, you are using the context menu surround with #region.
Now I get it. – montelof Aug 4 at 16:40.
I don't like the way VS formats the code so, I've unchecked all 3 options in Text Editor / C# / Formatting. I've also checked 'Ignore spaces in declaration statements'. In most cases it works.
But when I'm surrounding code by eg. Is it a way to protect against?
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
