I use to have my iphone jailbroken for 2 years until iOS 5 came out. I like the interface but some of the things still aren't included in the new iOS. You still have to switch out of applications to reply to sms/mms messages, which I think is ridiculous, but maybe they will change that in the future.
My battery life, from after the jailbreak, is better but not a huge difference. Notifications center is way better than LockInfo and it's less demanding. Personally, I would upgrade to the new iOS 5 and see where the updates take the phone.
That is my intentions because if they update the iOS a couple times and it is the same as if you were to jailbreak, then you really can't go wrong. Plus that will help your battery life in the long run. If you decide you don't want to update to iOS 5, here are some tips to help your battery life from what you have posted: Two of the reasons your battery is draining faster is Bitesms, and Winterboard (I'm guess you have that since you use themes).
Try to stay away from custom themes that change everything about the stock theme and do more individual themes instead. For example, change icon themes and sounds only. I use to have Bitesms till my phone started to decrease in battery life drastically.
I then got "Tlert". It does some of the same things as Bitesms but it is less demanding for the phone. I personally like Tlert better.
Bitesms sometimes lags when you are replying or trying to read the alert, but Tlert never lagged for me at all. My phone was able to keep a charge for 10 hours using these two methods. Also, make sure you have SBSettings.
This lets you toggle on/off what services are running on your phone. Get "Remove background" and "Remove Background for SBSettings". This toggle will let you clear your multitasking apps from running in the background with one click of the button.
Then add Push notifications to the sbsettings menu along with location settings via cydia. Use these when you start to see your battery life go down fast. Another tip, make sure you Bluetooth isn't running when you aren't using it, same thing with Wi-Fi.
These will help with your battery life. Hope this helps you.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
