How to update computed column in gridview immediately without in edit mode?

Keep the gridview inside an ajax update panel. After the content template of ajax control pane use a timer control which will periodically update your gridview automatically.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
