Maybe it's like modern art, FBR. You know, "I'm the artist, so it's art if I say it is. " The 'poet' is probably right now only regretting posting the piece too soon to qualify for entry into the upcoming HP prose and poetry contest.
Look forward to a sequel; if you reverse the alphabet, then the *first* letter of every 'character collection / line' rhymes. An avant-garde poet might see that as a brilliantly creative challenge to the straightjacket of the traditional forms...I'd be like you, but less outraged. I'd laugh.
I agree with writeronline, different people define art differently...but in my opinion, "look what I can do, I'm so clever" is not art.
I saw that poem, and voted it down. I think it also becomes our responsibility as hub members to flag and keep an eye out.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
