She didn't fall of the stage...but She amazed me with her mediocrity and she didn’t just stare at the camera when asked a question and her attitude towards Senator Biden (imagine if Obama had done the same to McCain, Mr. Experience himself). Can I call you Joe? Then there were the facial ticks, the winking and eyelash batting.
Where did she think she was? Who was she trying to flirt with? The entire male population of America? The icing on the cake was all the verbal ticks in her speech.
Somehow ’folksy’ means saying ’betcha’ ’say it ain’t so’ and various other filler garbage that has no place in a DEBATE. In a debate you want to be able to speak properly. As to what she said, I could make neither head nor tail of it.
All of sounded rehearsed. She actually had the moxy to refuse to answer debate questions (one wonders why you show up to participate in a debate if you don’t plan on answering the questions posed by the debate). The rehearsed nature of her responses didn’t keep them from not making any sense.
She seemed to spew out a series of failed circular arguments. Key words tumbled forth with little context and even relation to one another. What is scariest is that some people thought she won and somehow everyone thinks she got through it okay.
This is what is considered ’okay’ in American political discourse today? Candidates running to possibly become the so-called leader of the so-called free world doesn’t even have to string together intelligible sentences in order to try to answer direct questions? What sort of democracy is this?
When did the land of opportunity and self improvement turn its back on a base level of intellect and knowledge? How did she ever get elected mayor or governor? Alaska what are you thinking?

Very well. She came across as likable and very much on top of her game, unlike in those edited interviews with Charlie Gibson and Katie Couric, which were designed to make her look bad. What we saw tonight was the real deal-- forceful, intelligent and dedicated to making the country a better place.
She is obviously a very skilled debater and it showed. Senator Biden didn't do badly, but she stayed on message and wasn't tripped up by anything. You could tell from Sen.
Biden's reactions during and after the debate that he had met a worthy adversary and was quite impressed. What I found quite refreshing was Greta van Sustern's praise for the fine job that Gov. Palin did when Greta came on camera after the debate.
The instant poll on the Drudge Report says that 71% of the people who voted in the poll declared Gov. Palin to be the winner. http://www.drudgereport.com/ I doubt that the Vice Presidential campaign will have a major impact on the immediate poll numbers, but the debate did do a great job of redefining Gov.
Palin's image. If the bailout bill passes, the news will have to stop repeating the same story about the financial crisis over and over and over again. A new news cycle will probably focus on something else.Sen.
McCain's numbers will start to trend up again and we'll have a horse race again. Considering the fact that if she came in, chewed gum, and walked at the same time it would have been considerered good! She did well. She needs to learn how to dodge questions better.
If I hear one more time how she wants to deal with the energy issue, I think I will throw up. Personally, I wish the Moderator did her job and kept them on topic. If you are asked a question, you should answer it, not talk about energy again and again..
1 It wouldn't have changed my mind so I didn't watch, but the blogs seem to suggest that the debate didn't do much to change anyone's mind either way: those who love her, still love her. Those who don't, still don't.

2 I think Palin did very well. She showed broad knowledge but not the detailed knowledge of Biden. Nonetheless, she came across very well and made her points.
Biden came across as a politician. I would give the overall to Palin. At this point I think we can get past the VP issue and get back to the Presidential race.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
