All you are really asking here is wether you HATE Bush or Love Bush. If you like it or not the history books are not going to look back all negative on Bush no matter how much you dislike him or his ways. The history books are always going to lean toward the best and try and put a positive light as possibe on our past presidents.

The history will reflect what he did best. The history will reflect that he was part of a Father and Son presidental team, a great accomplishment. Not every family can say that.

The history books will remember the war in Iraq, and that Bush sent them over, but Bush sent them in response to the 911 attacks. Bush was responding very positively to a very negative situation. At least he was willing to do something after the terrorists killed over 3,000 American people.

Maybe his motives were wrong, everyone is welcome to their opinion, but history will put a positive light on it and if nothing else remember him as someone who was willing to stand up against terrorism and to try and put a stop against terrorism. America had a choice, fight the war in Iraq or have the terrorists come to America and fight the war on our own streets. Bush made the right choice. At least he was willing to make a choice.

Granted we might have stayed to long and maybe we should be home right now, again a matter of opinion. The bottom line is Bush has done some good and some bad, like all presidents. Story will remember him for the good.

Even Clinton done bad. Clinton DISCRACED the White House, period. No excuse. But history won't remember him just for that.

Story will remember Clinton for a lot of the good he did while he was president. I will tell you this, my personal opinion. I voted for Bush.

Even knowing what I know and the choices I had at the time I would make the same choice. I don't agree with everything he has done, then again I don't agree with everhthing every president does. But he has done some good and some bad.

Personal Opinion :-) Doc † .

Most history books at the grade level would not mention him in ant detail if at all story is the most poorly taught subject in schools and is a glossed over subject. Bush and his motavations would be to complex for grade level history and most likely for the high school level. Nothing is bad is ever said about our presidents in grade school.

School curriculm is set by school boards who want to avoid anything that would disturbe parrents. There will be many staunch conservatives who would be offended if something bad was said that would infuence there kids attidudes towards there beliefs. Bush to some is a good president ofr backing theie right wing beliefs.

Collage is the place for bush bashing and bashed he should be. Public schools are a political animal so no controverys accepted.

Thinking of all of the things that people both like him and dislike him for. From the start of his term, "the Florida vote" to "9/11" to "War in Iraq" at the ending of his presidential term..

I think he will be regarded as one of the poorest presidents in US history For his unnecessary war, fiscal mismanagement and dishonesty.

The worst thing to ever happen to the world. GWB has single handedly destabilised the world as we knew it. He is bleeding the middle east dry of oil....no surprise his family made their fortune with the OIL business.

He has basically gone on a texan rampage for years and we will be feeling the after effects for centuries to come.........if we survive long enough. Sources: Personal Opinion .

Pres Probably the same as Carter....... Both sides get some good / some bad..... It happens.. People will try to rewrite history to their view anyway... Just look back at how history looks at Roosevelt or Truman....

Your question assumes that recent American history is taught in grade schools around the world. That's a bit of hubris in itself. I grew up in Canada a long time ago, and in grade school we learned a bit of US history, but mostly where it affected Canada (and the several attempted US invasions).

Otherwise, it was skimmed at a very high level. And this was in one of the countries most affected by US history. To the extent he is mentioned at all, he will be seen as either be a footnote to Iraq or the cause of decline of American prestige and power..

I'm not American, but I can surely give an opinion as to how I would view an 'historical' inference regarding his governance. I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
