I had the same problem with my 1984 Cadillac. Despite, conventional wisdom of starting with replacing the alternator, the first thing you have to do iinstead is replace the two main cables/wires that lead from under the car to the positive and negative posts on the battery. Make sure you sure the highest quality cable/wires because they will be a good investment for you.(That was the last thing I did after replacing a lot of the electrical parts to the car.
Rather that is what my mechanic did. Find a good and affordable electrical mechanic It cost me about $200 for the repair. But maybe this answer will save you some money.
After replacing those wires, then work on repairing/replacing the other electrical units in your car if needed. The non-electrical mechanics could not figure out what was wrong with my car. ) I have come across this same question over the internet for this same car.
Maybe defective cable/wires were used when the car was originally manufactured Answer multiple problem could cause the vehicle not to start. From no fuel pressure(bad fuel pump, or filter) incorrect fuel/air mixture(bad carb, pcm, grounds, air flow) electrical(no spark, no power to starter, bad ignition switch, etc) start with spark, using proper test tools see if there is spark at the spark plug. Then if there is not spark using proper electrical testing tool, check for signal from distributor.
Then if there is spark, check for fuel. Disconnect fuel line at filter and crank engine. If fuel is not present replace fuel pump.

A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
