A reason for such changes globally is an intensification of the greenhouse effect, natural phenomena vital for life on earth. When energy from the sun reaches the earth, about 70% is absorbed, heating air, land and sea. If it were not for this mechanism the average surface temperature would be about zero degrees Farenheit.
Eventually, the absorbed heat is released back into space as infrared radiation, thus preventing the earth from overheating. But when pollutants change the composition of the atmosphere, less heat escaoes. This can cause earth's temperature to rise.
Skeptics of global warming point to the so called ice ages and say such regions as Greenland at one time supported vegetation that prefers warm areas. Of course scientist concede that the further back they go, the more their certainty about climate diminishes.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
