How would you react to a fundamentalist Christian theocratic takeover?

Rape happens under Sharia law and not anymore or less than anywhere else. As far as my daughters, I will teach them to respect themselves and the way they dress will be modest, I don't need laws in place for me to know that. I want my children to grow up in a world where they are free, to worship who they want, to wear what they feel is right for them, and to fell free to be themselves.

Besides to think that all of those horrible things don't happen just because its against the law is just silly, people will just make their own Alcohol and get drunk, Men will still look at women no matter how modest they are dressed. Women have worked long and hard towards having the same rights as men and I'm not about to take a step back towards belonging to a man.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
