There is two possible things that could be the issue. 1.) Your Laptops Hard Drive (HDD) has a problem where it will lock up during usage/ it has been damaged. 2.) Your Operating System (Windows 7 Home Premium) is damaged.
First off lets diagnose which of the two issues listed above is the problem, or if it is both. To do that you will need - The original installment disc of Windows 7(You can also use the disc they call a "Recovery Disc' its the same thing.. It rarely comes with the computer, but you can request a copy of it by calling HP customer support and they will charge you a little bit for it.) - The Product Key of your Copy of Windows 7 Home Premium. You can find that buy looking on the bottom of your laptop... You will see a sticker that says something about Microsoft OEM Operating System.
Here is an example of what it looks like http://img204.imageshack.us/img204/6726/... Now, Write the Product-Key down somewhere where you will not lose it. So the First thing you will do once you have all the needs completed is you will format your computers Hard Drive, and then Re-Install Windows 7 Home Premium. So, turn off the Computer and when the black or blue screen appears that might says something about HP or phoenix or bios(The first screen that appears when your computer is turned on) Which may look something like this http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/9453/... Now, what your going to want to do on that screen(And fast because it leaves in like 5 seconds) So Hurry and Press the key 'F12' on your Keyboard>> That will bring you to the boot screen.
Once the boot screen appears put the recovery or installment disc for windows 7 in the cd drive now wait 10 seconds, now choose the CD option in the bios menu. It will load some files, give it like 3 minutes.
Try re installing windows on the laptop using a CD, But from my experiece when ever you get Unmountable boot volume it usually means the hard drive is going bad and needs to be replaced. It will probably run you about 40 to 100 for a new hard drive. Check out www.mwave.com or www.newegg.com for the best prices.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
