Beyond that, unless you've got either an excessive amount of rewrite rules, or an incredibly complex individual rule, there's not much to it.

Since mod_rewrite is using regex, I think you'd rather have to optimize your regex!

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
