HTC Rezound keeps restarting itself after ICS upgrade?

Your in bootloop brick. You updated the ROM (the firmware of the phone, like Windows 7 or Mac OSX is on a computer). However, you neglected to have at least 75% battery life.

ROM updated use alot of battery life. Also, which may be part of the issue too, is that you were connected to the laptop via USB cord. ROM updated are stored on the SD card as Update.

Zip files. IF you were in USB mode and choose to intstall while in USB mode, the phone may have ran the exec file to update but since it was in USB mode, the phone cant find the file since the SD card is busy while in USB mode. Thus causing the Bootloop brick.

Either way, the phone is dead. What do I do? ---- first step is to do a hard reboot.

Charge to 100%. Turn off... Turn on. If that doesn't work, The ROM was damaged during the bad install.

You will need to do a full HARD FACTORY RESET. This will delete alllll data on the phone and internal memrory. SD card will not be touched.

Here is the link to hard reset........... http://www.htc.com/help/www/howto_iframe... Press and hold the VOLUME DOWN button, and then press and hold the POWER button. Wait for the screen with the three Android images to appear, and then release the POWER and VOLUME DOWN buttons. Press VOLUME DOWN to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the POWER button.

Work now? If not, your ROM is damaged beyond repair. If you were rooted and have a backup of your stock ROM, go into clockworkmod and reinstall it.

Instant Fix! If you were not rooted, you have 2 choices----- 1) Google Search for an RUU Tool (Recovery Update Utility). RUUs are factory reset on crack.

Not only does it delete your information and restore phone back to day 1 status, it totally format the entire phone and deletes everything, even the ROM. And then installs a Fresh ROM. This is what they do at the warraty center to broken phones.

Once fixed byt he RUU, its remarked as Refurbished (used) phones. If you are not a tech and have no idea what you are doing, DO NOT DO THE RUU! Option 2) Call your wireless carrier and do a free warranty replacement.

Will this fix itself over night or should I take it to a phone shop? -------- see the above.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
