Hubby and I have separate Amazon accounts and Kindle apps on our own tablets. Can he download... Can he download a book I have purchased on my account? Is it just a matter of logging in to my account from his tablet and downloading the book?

Unfortunately what 'MrItty' said is true. There is no way to "cross-link" different Kindle user accounts. The books purchased on either account are only useable by devices and Kindle apps that are registered to each particular account.

But there is nothing in the Amazon.com Kindle 'Terms & Conditions" statement that prevents account holders from changing their device registration to another account, so that they can gain access to that new accounts Kindle library. Also, some Kindle store purchased books are sharable between different accounts. Here is a link on the Amazon.com website, that fully explains the Lending option.

Thank you for your answer! I've come to the conclusion that we'll just have to share one Amazon account with both tablets registered on the same account. This will take a call to customer service, but I'm sure they'll be willing to transfer the book he bought on his account to my account since we use the same (Amazon) credit card for both accounts.

Unfortunately, there is no way for them to combine multiple accounts. On the other hand, there is no reason to worry, as the books purchased on the "other" account will always be there, you would just have to re-register a Kindle to that "old" account, and then that device could download any books from that particular library.

Thank you for your answer. That seems like a good workaround. DCComet 1 month ago .

That's not very helpful, and because the question has now been "answered", someone who might actually be able to help might not even see my question now if he/she is screening for unanswered questions. I know it's possible to share books within a family. You can do it with Kindles.

I just haven't figured out how to do it with the Kindle app on a tablet. DCComet 1 month ago .

Yes, just "no". You cannot share books between accounts. You also cannot "log in" to a different account via the app.

Just because you didn't *like* the answer doesn't mean the answer wasn't true and helpful.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
