Hunting a movie title: Saw this late 90s maybe, a female assassin gets her assignments via an arcade game. Any ideas? Can't remember much as it was a while back (probably made in the late 80s or early 90s), the movie was maybe B-quality, one of those things I saw and it stuck in my head and I just gotta know.

LOL Only details I recall is she plays an arcade video game, at the end of which she receives her assignment (pictures and audio voice). She hit mostly low-level criminal types (one was a pimp). Don't remember much else; she might have been blonde. No luck searching IMDB for it.

Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment is a 1985 comedy film directed by Jerry Paris. It is the first of six sequels in the Police Academy series. The film was given a PG-13 rating by the MPAA.

Many actors return from the first film to respectively reprise their roles. Steve Guttenberg reprises his role as Mahoney, the class clown; former American football player Bubba Smith returns as the high-towering Marion Ramsey is featured again as Laverne Hooks; David Graf returns as gun-crazy Officer Eugene Tackleberry; Michael Winslow returns as sound effects wizard Officer Larvell Jones, and veteran actor George Gaynes returns as Commandant Eric Lassard. New faces in Police Academy 2 include WKRP in Cincinnati alumnus Howard Hesseman as Captain Pete Lassard (the brother of police academy commandant Eric Lassard), Bobcat Goldthwait as Zed, the leader of an obnoxious gang, Art Metrano as Lt.

Mauser, Peter Van Norden as slobbish K-9 sergeant Vinnie, as well as Julie Brown (if only in a very minor role). In the film, the Police Academy cadets have graduated and are assigned to the worst precinct in town, where they have to help Captain Pete Lassard fight Zed's gang. After a random attack the night before by a local gang and their incompetent leader Zed (Bobcat Goldthwait), Chief Henry Hurst (George G.

Robertson) arrives at the 16th precinct and notifies its captain, Pete Lassard (Howard Hesseman) that the precinct is the worst in the county. Nevertheless, Hurst gives him 30 days or else he's closing it for good. Before he leaves, Mauser (Art Metrano) schemes his way into talking to Hurst.

Hurst promises him the rank of captain should Lassard fail. Pete calls his brother Eric (George Gaynes) and asks him for six new recruits, as was promised by Hurst. Throughout the movie, Mauser as seen scheming with his dim-witted partner Lt.

Proctor (Lance Kinsey) as he attempts to taker control of the precinct. Carey Mahoney (Steve Guttenberg), Larvell Jones (Michael Winslow), Eugene Tackleberry (David Graf), Moses Laverne Hooks (Marion Ramsey), and Douglas Fackler (Bruce Mahler) join the 16th precinct, and some are assigned a veteran officer partner since they're rookies: Fackler has Dooley (Ed Herihly), Mahoney has Vinnie Schulman (Peter van Norden), and Tackleberry has Sgt. Kathleen Kirkland (Colleen Camp).

At first, Tackleberry doesn't like Kirkland very much because of the fact she's a woman, but they later hit it off when they compare their preference of gun choices. Tackleberry later confides to Mahoney that he may have fallen in love with her. Mahoney and Schulman spot a robbery at a merchant's place, but fail to catch the robbers as more officers arrive: they end up destroying his place Mauser is ready to suspend them, but Mahoney makes a passionate plea that convinces Lassard to give them another chance.

While all this is going on, Zed and his gang rob a supermarket. Sources: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Police_Academy_2:_Their_First_Assignment .

The House of the Dead (arcade game) The House of the Dead is a rail shooter light gun game. Players use a light gun (or mouse, in the PC version) to aim and shoot at approaching enemies. The characters' pistols use magazines, and are required to reload once each magazine is empty.

A set of torches next to the magazine of each player represents remaining health. When a player is hurt or shoots a civilian, one of their torches is removed, signifying damage. A player is dead when all torches are lost.

A player may then continue by inserting more credits, if playing on an arcade machine, and pressing the "continue" or "start" button. There are first-aid packs available throughout the game that will restore one torch. These are found either in the possession of civilians that the player has rescued or inside breakable objects.

Similarly, there are also special items located in breakable objects that will grant a bonus to whoever shoots it. Throughout the course of the game, players are given numerous situations in which their actions will have an effect on the direction of gameplay. For instance, in the beginning of the game, a civilian is about to be thrown off the bridge to his death.

If players save the civilian, they will enter the house directly through the front door; however, if the civilian dies, players are redirected to an underground route through the sewers. Sources: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_House_of_the_D... .

Trying to find name of a scary movie that was released in the mid-late 90s.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
