Try to do sth that he doesn't need to lie... I think you force him lie...change urself...
First of all I believe in marriage and secondly I am also divorced. My first husband was a raging alcoholic that came very close to beating me up. I am only 4'11" and at the time of our marriage I was only 100lbs.
He was a big man and would have done me serious hurt. I had 2 beautiful kids with him. He started out as my best friend.
We met when I was 15 and him 18. We were together till I was 26. We married when I was 20 and he was 23.
I would have stayed with him if he quit drinking. He never did. He lied about his drinking when he was supposed to be dry.
I even asked him to join AA which he wouldn't. I did everything in the beginning I even went to Al-anon right up till he got drunk one night and almost killed me in a drunken rage. Unlike what I went through you still have a chance to make things work.
Find out why he lies, go to counselling if you must to make it work. If my husband had sobered up I would have tried to make it work. After our divorce he married again and put his new wife in hospital.
My circumstance is far different from yours and I can't tell you what to do but if it is worth fixing I would try. I have been married now with husband #2 for just over 12 years and a day does not go by when I think how nice it would have been to share my life with my first husband now that we are grandparents and both our children are married. This will never be, but I think that I am better off now.
I just wished it could have been different. For the sake of trying to make it work I pray you have the strength you need to endure till the end at what ever you decide. Love Cathy.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
