I recently looked into this I just finished reading The Librarian's Career Guidebook (Paperback) by Priscilla K. Shontz and I highly recommend checking out a copy. There was a good essay in there about distance learning.
What you need to do is check out this site:libraryhq.com/distance.htmlAnd find a distance learning program that is right for you. Make sure it's accredited by the ALA. Then it's just a matter of following their guidelines for applying.
According to the book above, it will usually take 3 or 4 years to complete the degree in this manner compared to 1 or 2 if you were to attend school full time. But there are advantages, especially since distance learning is likely to become more common in the coming years. You'll have practical experience in this regard which is directly applicable to your career.
Good luck! Sources: My experience .

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
