Both... The code standard and formatting is set by MasterCard. The bankcard issuer determines the code value attached to your card. .

I'm not sure understanding that will help you with the problem you are experiencing. . If I were you, I would call up your bankcard's customer service number and explain you are having difficulty making a purchase with their card.

If they can't help you, politely escalate the issue to a manager. I do not think this is a MasterCard issue per se. No matter who ultimately is responsible for security technology, you are the direct customer of the bank and are trying to use their product.

2 I dunno the answer but I've had the same problem. No solutions, just finger pointing by both sides. The only thing I've found that works (occasionally) is to use your Back button to jump back to the order confirmation page and submit again.

Sometimes that by-passes it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
