I am in the Jails of Tartarus stage but I can't seem to jump from one platform to the next. If I try to jump, then I die. How can I pass?

After you break the rocks you can make the chains come down. The rocks you can break look funny. Anyway the levers will make the chains come down and then you have to time jumps right.

That one you are talking about has to be double jumped. Practice. It takes a few times to get it.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
