I am looking for a particular science/math/astronomy paperback book with red stripes on a white background I saw it a book store and I can't remember the name. It's a paperback, and was in the Mathematics, Physics, or Astronomy section. It wasn't purely a textbook, but definitely nonfiction.

Could be Popper: The Logic of Scientific Discovery See links to the mentioned items on amazon. Com below. Sounds like it could be Popper: The Logic of Scientific Discovery. It’s paperback, with lots of red scribbled lines on a white background.
Two less likely candidates are: Nonplussed: Mathematical Proof of Implausible ideas It has red and white checkers on the cover of the hardcover version, not sure about paperback. Also, Zero by Charles Seife has a big red and white zero on its cover, just in case you misremembered the stripes. I don’t know why the circle isn’t showing up on the picture below.
If you like math and science books, I highly recommend the author Charles Seife. S books are very enjoyable and easy to read. I’m interested in math and numbers, but I have no background in it, and his writing is easy to follow.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
