This version doesn't exist anymore. Is it an older version? I don’t think they make it anymore.

I would suggest several other options, either the 1875W for fine hair (4 star rated), the vs505 or the vs781, but I would avoid the 525 which sounds similar to what you are describing, but the reviews said it was too loud.
