I am looking to add Amazon Affiliates to my account. I was wondering what experience everyone?

It is impossible to predict. You make a good review hub with Amazon links in it and hope it works. Putting Amazon links is free so there is no reason not to try.

But you have to be patient and do more hubs as you wait. There is no immediate money making here. That's how hubpages works.

You do something now. You start to get your sales when you nearly forget about the hub. I think your HVAC system hub has a good chance of selling some books.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
