First of all, did you buy the air conditioner, or was it there already ( you never stated if this is your home or a rented apt. ) If you have bought it yourself, and if it's a split system airconditioner ( these have indoor unit, and outside motor unit) you could dismantle it, and take it with you. It may be a all in one unit, but you didn't say) If it's a unit in the apt.
