Here's what I used I don’t know where you live, but I'd recommend something like 1-800-Pack-Rat or PODS, one of those places that will bring a container to your home for you to pack and then will either store it or move it when you're ready. I used 1800packrat.com/Default.aspx" rel="nofollow">1800packrat.com/Default.aspx and found them to be easy to work with. I appreciated the ability to pack and unpack at my leisure, but I did have people to help me.

All of that kind of place that I'm aware of has various sizes of containers, and will also provide moving materials like quilted pads for mirrors and so on. Good luck, and welcome to Askville! Sources: 1800packrat.com/Default.aspx" rel="nofollow">1800packrat.com/Default.aspx .

1 Good luck.. moving sucks. I have done it so many times.. it would make your head hurt. I like doing it myself because then if anything gets broken its my own fault so I use U-haul.

That being said, I have not tried those PODS things. They look cool. I am not sure about the price though.

Generally when I used a company it was through my old work so they paid for things. They go with the lowest bidder which was mostly Mayflower. That being said.. I truly believe you get what you pay for.

They broke a lot of my stuff. Though I did get reimbursed.. some of those things were precious. Do so at your own risk!

2 We don't know whereabouts you live and where you are moving to. We also don't know your age or physical condition. Movers are both local and national.

I have seen professional movers in the NYC area. And, I have seen movers with drunken workers. The big national movers are expensive and not necessarily better than local/regional players.

When I was younger and had less stuff, I always moved myself, recruiting friends and family to help. I could no longer do that. It has been a while since I last moved.

I used a local mover. So did my parents when they downsized to an apartment from a house. As I recall, nothing was broken.

Everything was professionally wrapped and handled with great care.

I'm planning on self publishing my novel. What's the best publishing company?

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
