I don't recall Obama pulling the trigger himself, so if he takes credit for it, he will surely draw the ire of the men and women in uniform. He already did major defense cuts, which will affect the troops. I don't see him winning too much support come election time.
Most in the military can't stand him, and rightfully so.
I don't think he TOOK credit for it as much as people GAVE him credit. People tend to hold the president responsible for for anything that happens under his administration. I don't think the his military vote will be negatively affected by that too much.
I think they mostly understand the people will make what they want of things. From what I hear from my friends who HAVE been in the military, their disapproval of Obama has nothing to do with the killing of Osama bin Laden. However, I can't say anything about people who are currently active in the military.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
