I applied for a position and status showed open, but when I interviewed 2 days later it showed status filled?

You only got the job if they called you afterwards and offered it to you. But it's not a total loss. If the one they did hire turns out to be useless, they'll merely go back to whom they know and already interviewed.

I had a great interview and 2 days later it showed online filled, but I did not recieve an email stating we are seeking other candidates. I will call on Monday to make sure. Thank for your answer.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
