True you don't need to believe in a supernatural being watching your every movement. Its wishful thinking. Children learn early on that wishful thinking does not get things done.
Well, I did not "choose to believe in reincarnation", I have knowledge about "life as never-ending continuum" from my earliest age...what I clearly wrote in my Hub. It seems that you did not read my Hub at all, did you? Personally I would be very afraid to live only once (I tried to) because there is no guarantee for the keys of paradise.
One can always do mistake ...and finish in hell. Every human being makes dozens of sinns daily. You are free to belive in whatever you want to, so let the others belive in whatever they think or know the truth is.
You believe in a god that does believe in reincarnation and therefore you have to accept that you will come back again and again OR you can chose the god of the bible who does not believe in reincarnation and then you will learn that you only have one life and only one life.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
