Buy an adapter depending on what type of port you have you will want to buy one of two adapters, hdmi -> dvi OR hdmi -> vga of most computers these days expect you to be using a digital monitor so they are equiped with DVI ports. Sorry, but using an adapter to convert VGA to HDMI won't work because VGA is analog and HDMI is digital. You'd have to go through something like an a/v receiver with real processing capability to convert the signal. If your PC has DVI then it's okay because that's digital video.
