I have re-installed Firefox 3 times. No effect. I have tried to restore the computer.
If I try to restore beyond yesterday... when the problem started, neither Firefox nor Explorer will work at all. Just received an e-mail from Sony apologizing for their first reply and saying it sounds more serious than they first thought. They suggest trying to restore to factory settings which I am going to attempt.
If that fails, I visited the Sony store to ask about warranty repairs and was told to bring the computer in so that is likely what I will end up doing. There seems to have been a failure in the computer registry caused by the Vaio care program. Thanks for the reply.
I purchased this laptop for work and every single time I go online to see a video It freezes up it cant keep up with the speed of my internet. All my older pc's stream the video fast. Don't expect to get a speedy laptop just because you upgrade to the 2.3GHz processor, I did and I lost.In the bright side I got a free Blue-ray up-grade but I wanted a faster pc instead.
I've used it for 3 months now. I hope this will help future buyers. thesonyworld.com/category/laptops.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
