I copied files onto my SanDisk Sansa m240 under Windows 2000. How can I access them under Windows XP? When I plug my SanDisk Sansa m240 into my home computer running Windows 2000, it mounts as a drive.
When I plug it into my work computer running Windows XP, it mounts as a media player. The trouble is that files loaded using one OS can't be seen and modified on the other. How can I get Windows XP to mount the device simply as a drive?

You should be able to go to Media play and right-mouse synch, then choose more options Go to devices and change the options for your device Sources: my answer .
Your employer doesn't want you to. It mounts as a drive just fine under Windows XP... unless, of course, somebody with Admin privledges has modified settings in Windows to prevent it from doing so. Basically, if your employer let you bring in your own USB drive, you would be able to copy everything you have access to and that can be a bad thing for the business..
1 In case anyone else runs into this problem, the solution I found was to change a setting on the Sansa's menu, under USB from "Auto Detect" to MSC.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
