I currently have dark red or as they call it paprika walls in my living room, what color laminate flooring should I get?

I think some shade of a light oak might be good. You don't want anything too dark with paprika on your walls. There are lots of sites where you can see different colors if you google "pictures of laminate flooring".

I think you want it as light as possible. As Kar said, a bleached or light oak. Maybe a light pine.

But something light to offset the dark walls. You want to get some light into that room and not feel you're in a tunnel.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
