1 - No, you are not too old to start. You are too old to dance professionally, but since you just want to dance as a hobby, go for it! =) 2 - You don't have to be super skinny, and 130 lbs.
Is definitely not overweight. It is a common misconception that dancers have to be stick figures. Certainly, many professional ballet companies require a certain height/weight, but if you are dancing just for fun, there are not any weight/height requirements.
Happy dancing!
Its never to late to start ballet! You should definitely go for it. Under no circumstances do you need to be extremely skinny to be a ballerina its all in the way you perceive yourself if your willing to work at it and just keep your head held high you will have nothing to lose!
I have been doing ballet since I was three years old and I weigh the same as you and I am the best in my studio. Your definitely not too old to start and there is no weight limit. Go for it and sign up :D the worst that can happen is that you hate it but I personally believe that its impossible to hate Ballet!
Good Luck!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
