I don't think the global warming is real..why some people seems to believe in it?

If it wasn't for global warming, Chicago would still be under a mile of ice.

CO2 traps heat in our atmosphere. Yes this happens naturally, but with the vast increase in industry more gasses such as CO2 are being produced, and therefore more heat is being trapped. Because of the rate we are cutting down trees as well, which remove CO2 from the atmosphere, we are further messing with the Earth's natural balance.

If scientists are influenced by politics, it's more likely to make them say that global warming ISN'T happening. After all, they don't want to have to face the fact that the way the world runs is very harmful to the Earth because then they'd have to reduce their levels of industry which would mean less money.

Well there is no doubt that global warming and cooling does happen but man made I don't think so. Three reason's one the last ice age couldn't have been caused by man. The last time the earth got really hot couldn't have been caused by man.

But I do think that all the trees we are cutting and not the factories are a problem more pollutions is able to collect in the atmosphere and I do think that the earth is warming but it could be because the sun is burning hotter than it was a 100,000 years ago. Man in my opinion has little to no effect on the global climate.

Firstly ice-age is a completely natural process. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Mauna_… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Global… Compare... Also there is a reason why 97% of the scientific community KNOWS it's real. And if you think it's the sun and stuff, then explain why it has gotten warmer in the night-time than in the day-time in comparison.

If you don't think CO2 and CH4 among other gasses reflect sunlight, research.

My research shows there isnt any real evidence to back the theory up. Its a money making scheme and thats the bottom line. The data is tampered with and numbers are adjusted or presented to fit their agenda.

Some of the most trusted reports have been written by underqualified people with no real authority on the topic.

The popular theory now is as you say, the heating and cooling of the earth is part of nature and will happen anyway. The only difference is that we believe the co2 is speeding up the process and a very high rate which is giving us less time to come up with solutions for future events.

Google proper official research labs, also why would we be getting told by goverments when all they get from it is an advert bill Also more allergies and cancers now more than ever especially since industrial age. If your not part of solution then you have to be part of problem, no side-lines in morals.

You are right about the on and off ice ages throughout the years but there are other clues that the Earth is goings through a rapid warming process. For example, there is more smog in places like Canada and Russia than there ever has been. The question is not "is this the true Global Warming?" but "what can I do to help keep the planet in good condition?

" No doubt, with all the cars and trucks around in today's day and age, the pollution level is much higher. You'd feel uncomfortable breathing in air that wasn't clean and fresh, and that's how it is on a bigger scale with the Earth. Of course we will all die and humans will die out and one day maybe start again, but in the near future--the kind we can actually imagine!

-- lets make this a clean and healthy place for people to live. That's what the whole fuss about global warming is. Because In a short period of time we did more than our share of damage and leaving a big carbon footprint and we didn't think about how this would affect people and animals and plants down the line.

A little can go a long way.

Fires were started before matches were produced too. Does that mean matches can not produce fire? The Earth would not be warming up without the additional CO2.It's the speed of change that maters though.

If a change is too fast for animals to adapt they will go extinct. Species going extinct because of human produced 'pollution' or human induced climate change is not natural. Previously species went extinct, aside from over hunting, due to natural changes and natural causes to climate change.

People, climatologists and the government think CO2 is warming the planet based on physics. Gathered evidences such as wavelengths of additional tropospheric radiation, rates of change of atmospheric warming on both temporal and spatial scales, changing chemical composition of the atmosphere, and so on all indicate humans are the cause of additional CO2 and CO2 is the forcing cause of most of the warming. You're argument is basically that you just don't care.

These same arguments are made by those that do not study the science behind climate change and instead get their information from forums or articles by other people that have no idea what they're talking about. You are just another one of those that deny reality because you do not accept it just as many others in here.

Because it taps into their unconscious fears and validates their prejudices. Those on the left tend to fear technological society (embodied in the evil oil and coal companies). They also seem to suffer from a certain 'self-hatred', for not being able to live without impacting the sacred, innocent earth...they project their guilt onto others, those who 'consume' too much, or have a larger 'carbon footprint'.

The global warming crowd takes advantage of this to promote their control over companies, individuals and resources. The fear appeal (you're going to destroy the planet! ) is accepted uncritically because it agrees with their pre-existing belief system (those evil oil companies).

“Men are rarely aware of the real reasons which motivate their actions...men are very largely actuated bv motives which they conceal from themselves, is as true of mass as of individual psychology. " Bernays, “Propaganda” "The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, all of them imaginary. " --H.L. Mencken.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
