The easier way for me to see what my profile URL is is to click "my profile" at the top right of HubPages and copy the URL. You can also just remember that all the home page URLs look like hubpages.com/profile/your name. Mine is hubpages.com/profile/glassvisage.
If you want the URL for a Hub, the format is hubpages.com/hub/Hubname. You can also copy and paste the URL at the top, or click "link to this page" at the footer of the HubPage.
If you know about URL tracking, you can add a tracker to your URL to get referral points every time someone visits your page. To find your personal URL tracker, go to "my account", then "URL Trackers". To insert it into your URL, just add an underscore and the tracker right after the hubpages.com.
For instance, my tracker is xgyc91scxpdw, and so my URL with the tracker is hubpages.com/_xgyc91scxpdw/profile/glassvis Same thing with Hubs; I just made a Hub about getting a car if you can't afford one, and the URL with the tracker is http://hubpages.com/_xgyc91scxpdw/hub/How-to-get-a.
Thank you for your quick response. Obviously I am new at this game. I so appreciate all the valuable information you supplied.
What a great fellow hubber you are! I'll be sure to check out your hubs.
When you get around to adding photos from the photo capsule you should not use the URL in the properties of the image from Google or Yahoo. Use the save image and copy to you computer for future use. You'll understand later.
If you save the image, it is on your computer. If you use the properties and URL of the image, it is a one time deal. You can save the URL but will have to click to get the picture.
If you save the image to your computer, one click will get you your image. Used the edit box on the photo capsule to save your images.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
