Everyone heals differently. I highly doubt infection or irritation just yet. Remember you jsut got the piercing. It's bound to be some sort of red, swollen, and painful.
People can have different reactions to a piercing, which is why you need to keep an eye on it. As lilibees says, you could be allergic to the metal.
I found with my nose piercing in particular that it would get red and sore if I touched or played with it too much. If you're really worried.
Clean around the piercing slowly and thoroughly.
Do this twice a day for a few days and see if it helps. This helps clear the piercing out and prevent infection from setting in :).
You may have very sensitive skin some people can be allergic to stainless stee. This could have occured from other piercing that were not left in the entire 6 weeks. Most stainless still pircing should be kept in for six weeks before remove in doing so your body builds up a tolerance to stainless a forgien object. So if you had your ears pirced as a child and took them out too soon you may have caused yourself to have a sensitivity to steel.
And with all that it will be fine keep it clean and don't play with and most of all leave it in!
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
