NOPE This is because you would have to have the date on the original negative when it was processed, and most done even have that. And when you scan it you would lose any data that was on the back of an old photo as sometimes there are stamps on the back that give info as to when it was taken and by whom. I know this is not what you wanted to hear, but thats just how it is.

HArd AI This is a "hard AI" type of problem, the kind computers are totally unsuited for. One could look at the paper for watermarks, look at the picture for clues, look for landmarks, etc. None of these things are amenable to computerization..

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
