1 Have you had the battery itself checked could be a weak cell. Or just a old battery that needs replacing.
2 I concur with squeeky: batteries get old and lose their oomph. Most places that sell batteries will load-check your battery free-of-charge (hoping it is dead so they can sell you a new one) I personally prefer to spend a little extra and get maintenance-free batteries, but really the only maintenance a battery needs is to pop the caps every couple months and make sure the water level is correct (top off with distilled water IF needed - not usually likely unless you use a maintenance charger) .
3 Something might be drawing current without you knowing about it. If the battery checks out, it can be hard to troubleshoot. Sometimes pulling fuses can help to isolate the problem.
I would start with the accessory circuit.
Unhook the negative battery terminal and hold the positive red wire of the meter to the car engine, the black wire to the free (negative) battery pole. With all the car doors shut you should see a current drain of under 0.1 amp. Most batteries are god for 60 amphours, so they can tolerate a 0.1 amp drain for 600 hours, or a 1 amp drain for 1 hour, or a 60 amp drain for 0.1 hours, and so on.
If the drain is 0.1 amps your battery will run down in 600 hours, or about 25 days. If there is no constant current drain, and the alternator is okay, then the battery may be shot. They typically last 2 to 4 years, less in cold climates.
You might also check the battery water level.. It should be up to the little circle but no higher or lower.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
