When a battery is dead you don't want to be jumping the vehicle. That can fry the alternator and cause feed back in the electrical system. A 2001 vehicle has probably had more than one new battery in it's life.
If the one in the car is over 4 years old it's probably ready for replacement. You need to charge the battery with a portable battery charger set to 12 volts, 10 amps, for 6 hours. I'd disconnect the battery cables when charging the battery.
You should also hold the disconnected battery cables together fro a minute to discharge any electrical feed back in the system. After charging the battery start the car and drive to an Advance Auto Store and they can test the charging system for you to make sure the alternator is working properly. Don't shut off and start the vehicle too many times and don't turn the headlights, radio, or any other electrical load on to conserve power just in case the alternator isn't working.
You should be able to drive 30 minutes if the alternator is bad.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
