The rating for a speaker is the PEAK possible. 99 percent of the time, they draw less than 10 watts. Usually less then 1 watt.
If they really are rated at 1000 Watts continuous, then make the amp put out no more than about 80% of that or 800 Watts per channel. Note, Even for an engineer, it is often hard to figure out the actual performance of equipment as they fudge numbers all the time.
I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
