There are artists named Bodan but I find nothing on BodaN which doesn't really surprise me. Just in case why don't you post an image of the painting. Or you can take a flat on good photo, not the frame, and upload you image to Google Images at:google.com/imghp?hl=en&tab=wiIt will compare the image with other like images in the database and sometimes you can find information about a painting.

That might help, but no guarantees. Sometimes people paint things and they aren't a well known artist.

The way the painting is signed Is capital B than lower case letters untill the last letter which is Uppercase again. The picture has a few what looks like farm houses or bigger in the back ground. There is a river running through with an island in the middle, colorful purple leafed trees on the other side of the right side of the river amoungst other trees, and in the lower left corner, a lady sitting on the embankment with a basket with a cloth over it.

It almost reminds me of the scene in the bible, where the babies mother takes him and hides him in the reeds. Thank you for your replies though. I will check the other sites out.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
