My cat is supposedly very healthy! And very active. I am sadly at a bit of a loss.
She is one of two cats in my house, and was a rescue I adopted pretty much at the brink of death about 3 years ago; 4 pounds underweight when pregnant and abused. She lost the kittens in an operation to save her life.My other cat I've had all my life - he is a grazer, and is on kidney food (the prescription N/F stuff) because he's had stones and is a candidate for kidney disease. That food is high in fat to be less of a burden on the kidneys.
The fat cat came into my house, and gobbled up everything in sight within 2 weeks till she relaxed (the whole "this may be my last meal" mentality) and she ballooned - and has never lost the weight. She's spayed, and about 7 or 8 now. My vet pronounces her healthy every year, and affectionately calls her the "tick" (small head, huge body).
She's on the Purina One Indoor cat and Lean cat stuff, and really doesn't eat a whole lot. Am considering prescription stuff and just cutting down on portions - but my first kitty will suffer a lot and he's already 12 with health problems.. so I feel sorry for him and haven't done this yet. All suggestions welcome!
I'm a huge animal lover and just want both kitties to be healthy without suffering too much for it. :( GenelleH 60 months ago.
I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
