I have a college taster day tommorow, I am worried about being with people I don't know?

Just be yourself. I found in high school I hung with others like me. In college I went for the opposite, not on purpose just happened.

Far out example but say you wear a suit normally then try for the opposite maybe someone in goth..... only an example..... In high school every one HAS to be there. In college people WANT to be there. You will always find the high and mighty who do not want a new friend.

That is ok, let them go. And the first few you meet may not be life long friends. But it is a start.

If you are more comfortable use a nickname and no last name. Or J. Etc.

Just give out what you are comfortable saying. And by the by we have all done it! Just takes time!

I think that there will probably be people like you who are also worried about the taster day tomorrow who are worried that won't know who to talk to so maybe a good idea would be to see if you can spot somebody on themselves and go up to them and try and start a friendly conversation :).

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
