I have a kitchen sink with faucets on my "barn" porch and want to hook water up to it by way of a garden water hose. How? I wondered if a washer "Y" hose would work?

You'll only get cold water from a garden hose. You can use 2 toilet supply lines and connect them to a garden hose splitter.

Yes, I realize it will only be cold water, but better than NO WATER! We were trying to do this for the least amount of money. What did you think of the washer "Y" hose idea?

I would try the hose splitter because it should thread right on. But the Y supply sounds like a decent idea too.

O.k. , I confess, I am confused. I bought a set of washer hoses, but they do not fit onto the sink faucets.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
