Use Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice... From your question, it sounds like you have some type of a list with names on it that you need to sort. My best recommendation is that you either use Microsoft Excel or OpenOffice to accomplish this. (If you don’t have Excel on your computer, your best option is to download and use OpenOffice, which is free.) I have listed a video tutorial below that shows how to sort data in their spreadsheet program in OpenOffice.
Simply open up your list and then sort the column in which you have your list showing. (Most likely, it will be Column "A", which is traditional.) When finished sorting, just hit the save button. It's easy!
Hope this helps. Sources: http://plan-b-for-openoffice.org/calc/topic/sort-data-descending-with-column-header .
Not with IE. You need a database or spreadsheet. You can buy them or download a free one from: download.openoffice.org/2.3.0/index.html... Copy and paste the list into the spreadsheet, the use the sort function..
That's a pretty common task for computers, and shouldn't take you long to do. I suggest you copy and past you list of names into either Microsoft Excel or Openoffice Calc. Calc is the same as Excel, but free.
You can download the entire suite, which is the free equivilent of Microsoft Office at openoffice.org. Below is an example of Calc, as you can see, it's almost the exact same as Excel. Personally, I would just copy your name list, and paste it into column A.
Then hit the A/Z down button to sort and boom... your done. Here are some links to all the products from Openoffice.org. Hopefully you find it useful.OpenOffice.Org Components: Base Calc Draw Math Impress Writer Sources: Personal experience and use Scarecrow's Recommendations The OpenOffice.

Listdicer. Com is a free, online tool that allows you to sort a list, alphabetize, organize, append and prepend items to a list. It allows for various ways to sort such as ascending, descending, and random or no sorting at all.
You can change the case of the list items to upper, lower or title case. You can also trim the extra spaces and remove duplicates from your list. If you need to do math or statistics with a list of numbers it can do that as well on the 'List Math and Statistics' page.Com/Sort_Alphabetize_Organize.
