I had the same problem on an old Honda 750four. It turned out that the generator was not charging the battery. If I were you I would check the battery and the charging/electrical system.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest.
