I have a whirlpool quiet partner ii that stopped working. It has power and the lights are on but when depressing the bu buttons it will not come on. It's like it does not seem as if I pressed any of the buttons.

Whirlpool dishwashers are cheap junk. I'd suggest not putting any money into it. Go buy a GOOD dishwasher, like a Bosch.It will cost twice as much but it will really, reallly CLEAN, and not break down, leak, or smoke every 6.5 months.
