I have a yucca plant out front that is getting pretty shaby. What is the best way to trim the old leaves off of it? I tried, don't laugh, a weed eater and a chain saw (the only tools I had available) and neither one worked.

2 Well, well, a shabby looking plant needs trimming! There is a reason why this plant started to look shabby and the reason could be, being from being planted in the wrong climate over using chemicals next to it to a cat or a dog using it as a litter on a regular basis. Google and find out first WHY your Yucca looks the way it does as I know many people with Yucca's in their gardens and they look perfectly healthy and terrific (but then-they have gardeners).

Find out first WHAT caused your yucca to look shabby and then start to treat the plant.

I cant really gove you an answer, but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
