I have been asking some riddles just for fun but I see that some people prefer to use the DB instead of the answer slot?

I have been asking some riddles just for fun but I see that some people prefer to use the DB instead of the answer slot. Can someone explain to me why is that? Before those questions were answer pretty fast but not now.Is it OK this kind of questions still or not more?

Most people here are kind of unhappy with the way Askville has been working lately... and also the lack of value to those coins many people had been accumulating makes them not to want to answer in the answer slot but on the DB. I had not been answering many questions lately myself, only when I want to add videos, or photos I feel like taking the answering slot since for those features the answering slot works much better than the DB.

1 I prefer the discussion boards because that's where the feedback is. We can't even see the answers until much later, so they reallly mean little or nothing in terms of the discussion! .

2 This has actually turned more into a "chat room" than what the website was originally intended for, and Discussion Boards are where the "chats" occur. Ergo, we also respond to most Questions there. There is no longer any advantage to taking an Answer slot, since whatever "Quest Gold" we earn is meaningless, and half the time the asker (usually newbies) never seem to even bother to come back to their Questions to rate or respond to them.

Usually people abide by this rule, and it also gets the answer slots filled up pretty quickly. If someone is really interested in the answer and doesn't plan to answer it himself, they can always choose to see the answers before they are closed.

I cant really gove you an answer,but what I can give you is a way to a solution, that is you have to find the anglde that you relate to or peaks your interest. A good paper is one that people get drawn into because it reaches them ln some way.As for me WW11 to me, I think of the holocaust and the effect it had on the survivors, their families and those who stood by and did nothing until it was too late.
