From the start our sex has been amazing. For the past 2-3 weeks, he hasn't been in the mood. And when we've tried, he doesn't "rise to the occasion".

But that has NEVER been a problem either. He's with me all the time, and when he's not, I know where he is. Therefore, I'm not worried about him being unfaithful.

Plus I trust him fully. I'm more worried he may be using again. He's a recovering Heroin Addict.

Generally when they don't rise to the occasion it could mean they definitely have something on their minds. It can also mean they are experiencing health problems. This sometimes happens with my hubby who is on high blood pressure meds.

You say he is recovering and you are not out of line to have apprehensions, however I wouldn't say that is the reason maybe just the temptation alone is enough to bother him. It is more important for him to be able to have someone to lean on rather than worrying how to pleasure you. Don't nag, give him some room and see if you can get him to open up about what is bothering him..
